Outboard Maintenance Workshop

Time: 10:00 am – Noon
Date: TBD
Location: Soothe Our Souls facility
Cost: $35
Capacity: Limit 20 people. Payment required below to reserve your space.

The main structure of the workshop will follow the 100 hour maintenance service. This covers the fundamentals of outboards including oil changes, fuel systems, etc. We will also cover the vocabulary and general anatomy of an outboard.

We will have an actual outboard to use and get our hands-on, however this is not a workshop where everyone will be turning wrenches.

This is a women only event.

We're sorry, the workshop is sold out.

About the instructor, Aga Kasprzak:

After 15 years of being on the forefront of cancer research as a biochemist for Moffitt Cancer Center, I decided to pivot into the mechanical world of outboard engine repair. I took a 12-month intense, technical marine course at Pinellas Technical College where I earned my Yamaha and Mercury certifications.  I am in the process of getting my electrical certification from ABYC. I started Sea Power Repair Zen (SPRZen) in 2021 to be able to share my knowledge, teach the curious and become the honest mechanic around town.
